Trezor is known as one of the more secure devices to keep your cryptocurrencies safe from Hacker.

Impenetrable?

Well 4 months ago was a presentation about Trezor attacks at DEFCON 25. To all that may not know, DEFCON is a hacking conference where all the bright minds join and check their skills against other hackers.

It took 15 seconds to access and copy all the information from Trezor device. Most of all after hacking, the device can be left in its original state, all data intact. You will never know that it was hacked! They tried the Trezor device, but the newest device - Trezor v2 , has the same glitch, its using the same Chip as well as another hard wallet Keepkey. These attacks are possible because Trezor is using non-secure chips made by STMicroelectronics.

Tho perform this hack you only need to connect the two pins inside the Trezor device at the right time. During the boot Trezor device firmware by itself fills the SRAM with all your sensitive secret information. How simple is that ?

Since Trezor has finally provided the hot-fix for this particular hack so we can also fully disclose how it works in this article here

Remember to upgrade your devices to increase the security level of your devices
