Just a day after the Nokia 2’s alleged price leak , HMD Global has announced its availability details. The Nokia 2 is priced at Rs 6,999, and will be available for purchase from November 24. The smartphone will be sold across major retail stores in India. The Nokia 2 comes in three color options of Pewter/Black, Pewter/White, and Copper/Black.

There are some launch offers available on purchasing the Nokia 2. Reliance Jio customers will get additional 45GB of 4G data on every recharge of Rs 309 and above. In essence, Jio users will get 5GB added to their recharges of Rs 309 and above, which is limited to nine recharges till August 31, 2018. Nokia 2 users can also avail a 12-month Accidental Damage Insurance by opening a Kotak 811 savings account with an initial deposit of Rs 1,000 in the introductory period.

The budget smartphone’s highlight is its massive 4,100mAh battery, which the company claims can offer up to two days of juice on a single charge. The Nokia 2 is also Android Oreo ready, which means that the smartphone will receive the OS upgrade soon enough. Currently, the Nokia 2 runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

Continuing with its specifications, the Nokia 2 features a 5-inch HD display. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 212 SoC. In terms of memory, the Nokia 2 comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

For photography, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The connectivity options available on the Nokia 2 include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
