Xiaomi Mijia Portable Electric Shaver Launched Priced At 179 Yuan (~$27)

Xiaomi has got lots of products to its name and hundreds more under its ecosystem. The innovative Chinese company has added yet another product to its MIJIA lineup without rolling out the drums. The product is the MIJIA Portable Electric Shaver which comes with a couple of features that would make it a relevant gadget to have at home.

The portable Electric Shaver adopts a slim, all-metal body with a minimalistic design which nonetheless, looks attractive. The upper cover is made of aluminium anodization technology, polished to produce the glossy high-gloss effect. The body shell is made of anodized aluminium sandblasted. The body looks like a pack of card and the thickness is just 13.2mm and the device weighs about 100g, making it easy to fit into the pocket or bag.

The blade is made from advanced steel imported from Japan and is of the same quality as that used on Samurai swords. The steel is skin-friendly and is sharp and tough. The sharp-edged blade sits in a 27 ° position which greatly improves the blade sharpness and makes it easy to trim the beard one time. The device is rechargeable and uses the conventional USB Type-C port and is powered by a Lithium-Polymer battery. In addition, the rotor uses a high-speed motor of 7800 rpm and it is noiseless with a run-time noise of just 65dB. The power switch is hidden to avoid misuse by kids and there is also a power indicator.

The Xiaomi Portable Electric Shaver is priced at 179 Yuan and is presently available for reservation on Mi Home. The sales would commence on November 11.
