Day 230 - Homework Steemiteducation -Isaac Newton

The great mind of the scientific revolution

Isaac Newton was born on January 4, 1643, in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. He was an astronomer, physicist, scientist, philosopher, and mathematician, known as the mathematician most famous for his law of gravitation, which was essential in the scientific revolution of the seventeenth century.

Newton from an early age had many intellectual skills, but his mother took him out of school at 12 years old to become a farmer and take care of the family farm, his uncle (a professional graduate of the University of Cambridge) to see Newton's qualities, convinced his mother to enter the university, where the young man worked and studied at the same time, as he was responsible for serving the rooms of the richest students. Since entering Cambridge University, Newton was fascinated with the most advanced science and all his free time was spent reading modern philosophers.

Your first achievement

It was in the year 1668 with the design and construction of a reflecting telescope, which he used to study optics and test his theory of light and color; He theorized that white light was a mixture of all the colors of the spectrum, and that light is made up of particles.
Isaac Newton developed the principles of modern physics, the most influential book on physics "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy" was his most acclaimed work published in 1687.

His most famous theory: The Theory of Gravity

This great discovery arose while Newton was sitting under an apple tree, when the apple fell and hit him on the head, this fact was enough for Newton to begin his research on the theory of gravity and the theory of movement; because in his head questions arose as: Why the apple fell down and not in angle?

The Theory of Gravity states:

That two objects are attracted to each other with a force of gravitational attraction that is proportional to their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.

Thanks to this incredible discovery, today we know the reasons why we and the objects, we can remain subject to our planet, if we stand and do not go off, it is thanks to the discovery of gravity.
