STEPS TO IMPROVE YOUR MARKET

Any business owner wants their business to grow and each time offers innovative products or services. The goal is always to become an entrepreneur, or at least it is mine, as well as being able to achieve financial freedom.

We also have people who are going to choose a job, do not think that by exercising your profession you do not sell yourself, that is, to be employed you had to send your curriculum summary, in it you write about your skills, courses and work experience that you have had, and if you do not have any you have to strive to grow more intellectually and socially. In this paper, you are selling yourself, you are showing your raw material to a company, ready to be exploited and improved. Like it or not, you're selling yourself.

Currently, I have a year managing my travel agency, everything I do from my home or wherever I find it. During this experience I have taken note of some things that have improved the productivity of it:

The first step is to define in which market your product or service moves.

That is, your business moves in the world of food, sports, life fitness, model, photography, among others. This is based on the skills and what you feel best doing, do you have customers for that service or product ?.

NOTE # 1: Remember that a product is a bit more complicated to sell than a service, looking for supply and demand in the last 5 years. Watch your growth, the time you had problems and your projections in your next 5 years. In general, businesses that have passed the age of 10 have great opportunities to stay in the market.

In my case a year ago I did not have any skills other than numbers, teaching, passion for engineering and technology. But as a good Venezuelan always looking for a source that would keep me above the economic crisis Venezuela has suffered for many years, I found something that I liked, to have my own travel agency, and to take advantage of my fruitful human capital. So evaluate the Pro and Contra, guess what?, Won the Pro!. This is how I defined my market:

Type of Business: Travel agency/ Tourism, Scope: National and International. Services: Air tickets, lodging, cruises, travel insurance, car rental, tour packages. Payment methods: TDC and transfers.

In this case, I do not touch much paperwork since you only have to buy your own business center, the Founding Company takes care of this part.

Second step, organize your client portfolio, with today's technology it is impossible for you not to do this, from WhatsApp to Social Networks (RRSS) , create your group in Whatsapp and create your image in Instagram and in Facebook. This part is essential, seek advice with a professional in the image and network management, but you can take many tutorials on YouTube and search the web. Post all your information, connect with your personal account, to our Client he likes to know everything about you, who you are, and if he can trust you. Search your motto, show your vision. Example:

Brand: WorldUpTravels, Lem: I am trust, integrity and commitment, Vision: Take unforgettable, unique trips full of positive energy to grow and find you.

The third step, is the contact with our Client, here it is important to apply Give To Receive, if you were that person who is looking for a service or product, how would you like to be cared for? Would you like some good days? What do you want? What can I offer? Questions and good wishes are key to the growth of the client portfolio. Remember that as an entrepreneur or as a businessman, who really matters is our client, no matter your interests, remember at that moment the scenario is of the person on the other side. Keep track of all your sales, if you have a problem, look for the causes that caused that problem, offer solutions.

Our Client does not like to receive a "NO" for an answer, or a "NO TENEMOS", and even if it is, you must exhaust everything to get it and if you still can not find your requirement, know that for the next guarantee you have the necessary.

In my case, sacrifice many clients at the beginning for not knowing how to handle this part of when they do not get what they want. By taking this into account and looking for solutions, they do not know how much my portfolio grew. I sought to associate with other agencies and work together, the feedback here is impressive, making relationships with many contacts and working groups is a very big power.

The fourth step, as your portfolio grows you must develop formats that take control of your activities and requirements, in this part enter the CRM (Customer Relationship Management), identify your statements, date of sale, date of application, supplier, success of sale, add comments. Then take part in analyzing the growth of your production, always look for your income, how the demand goes.

NOTE # 2: In Venezuela, it is currently important to manage our finances taking into account the % of Hyper-inflation. This is a factor that you must always keep in mind. Remember that your business is based on the IRR (Internal Rate of Return), it depends on the profitability of your initial investment.

Fifth step. Innovate and evaluate your competence, it is necessary that you look for which companies move in the same market as you, what are their strengths, what is their seal ?, what can you offer ?, what differentiates you from others ?, although not Believe it, the attention to the client is what makes people with more capital invest in your business or not. Millionaires not only handle a different concept of finance, they also take care of your money and take care of your biggest capital "people", start thinking like them, and you will grow to where you want to grow. Be attentive with our Client, be kind and helpful. Remember the Give To Receive!.

Of course, each of these steps are extended as you evaluate more factors and market responses, in another session to improve the productivity of your business, I will develop more tips and experiences that I have had.

I accept any type of opinion, it is clear that a year of experience is little before other entrepreneurs who have been working for 10 years and more and who have more than one company. Remember that everything is possible in this life.
