Sajek Valley - The Realm of Clouds .Touch the Cloud With Your Hands.
Sajek Valley, the hill queen and realm or kingdom of clouds is the largest union of Bangladesh located in the districts of Rangamati is one of the three districts of Chittagong hill tracts. The tour of Sajek Valley is awesome feelings and you can touch the clouds with your hands.
Though Sajek is a union of Rangamati , you have to go there through the Dighinala of Khagrachari district. The distance from Khagrachari town to Sajek Valley is around 35 kilometers. You can go there by hiring 'Chander Gari' the local name of a kinds of Jeep type vehicle. It takes up to 2 to 3 hours of roller coaster hilly ride. This ride is adventurous . I enjoyed it a lot.
Mainly the Sajek Valley is consists of Ruiluipara and Konglak Hill (Konglak Pahar ). It is 1800 ft high from the sea level. The clouds remain bellow of this Konglak Hill. Sometimes you can touch the clouds if you're lucky.
Lusai, Pangkhoa, Tripura tribes are the main citizen of this valley. From the beginning this village is under control of Bnagladesh Army and they turned this in to an amazing tourist place.
You can travel to Sajek at anytime but the rainy season is the best as my opinion and the Sajek Resort is the only best resort to accommodate there. There are some small resort conducted by the local people there.
