Urban Outfitters Drops Capsule Collection for JAY-Z’s ‘Reasonable Doubt’ Album
Urban Outfitters teamed up with Roc-A-Fella co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke on a limited edition collection honoring JAY-Z’s debut album, ‘Reasonable Doubt.’
The eight-piece ‘Reasonable Doubt’ collection includes a hoodie (US$64) and T-shirt (US$29) with the album’s artwork plastered on the front, as well as a short-sleeved T-shirt (US$29) with the lyrics “Let’s get together and make this whole world believe us” from Hov’s 1996 hit Can’t Knock the Hustle inscribed on the chest.
The range also features a long-sleeved shirt (US$39) that provides the full track list and a black beanie hat.
“I wanted to partner with a retailer that speaks to the everyday consumer by offering quality at an affordable price point,” Burke wrote in a post announcing the collaboration. He teased the ‘Reasonable Doubt’ bomber jacket on Instagram captioned, “coming soon” and is limited to only 196 pieces, a nod at the album that was released in 1996.
