BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:25 A.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIL) is in a world of trouble in central Syria, as they lose several towns and hilltops to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies in the Hama and Homs governorates.

The Syrian Arab Army and their allies, specifically Hezbollah an Liwaa Fatemiyoun (Afghani-Iranian paramilitary), have swept through much of rural east Homs, liberating town after town from the Islamic State, while also retaking many gas and oil fields in the process.

Most recently, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Corps and their allies entered the Al-Hayl Gas Field in the eastern countryside of Palmyra.
