How much Steem power (SP) can make an upvote to be worth $0.5, $1 etc?

Hello! Steemians. Today i was researching on this question because i was having some doubts and i believe some of you guys must have wonder on this. Here i present you guys with what i was able to gather as answer.

The simple answer is that "It depends" on certain factors. These are some of the factors it depends on:

1. Fluctuating exchange rate:
   Internally upvotes are based on STEEM, not dollars. So your account's upvote dollar value will go up (or down) based on the market price of STEEM.

2. Competition for limited reward pool:

The reward pool is rewarded on a no-reserve basis, meaning that if only one person upvotes posts, their upvotes will control the entire reward pool.

1. Payouts are nonlinear:

As a post accumulates upvotes, its rewards per upvoting SP increase. So if your account adds $0.5 to a new post, it will add a lot more than $0.5 to a post in the $500+ range.

1. Voting power limit:

Each account has voting power which decreases on each upvote and regenerates at a constant rate, so if you vote a lot, each individual vote will be worth less.
