One interesting thing about this post is the fact that our writer gave a formidable background to his support for the cryptogene project. He cited the condition in which Nigeria is yet to fully accept the cryptocurrency dicuss for obvious reasons wherein he used his mum as an example

Once had a conversation with my mum about the stress of going to the bank and queuing, when she can just get an atm card and easily access and withdraw her money, her response was quite laughable and easily understandable. She said with the bank you don’t have to worry about anybody stealing your card, having access to your secret pin and all you needed was your signature to withdraw your money.

Then he went on to talk about how cryptogene is going to try to solve this issue with their platform

Now imagine a cryptocurrency that’s able to educate you about the uses of crypto as we are currently in the internet age and all manner of works require you having a knowledge about computer and that’s where cryptocurrency comes in place.

This user brought us the knowledge of what one of the sub-projects of cryptogene is. He gave a good background to why the Nigerian and African community at large needed to be crypto educated

The gap between knowledge acquisition and sharing of knowledge is wide in Africa, this is due to several factors like;

poverty
cultural limitation and
education

---

He furthered in to talk about how cryptogene digest would be of good in this regard.

---

Cryptogene-Learn (DIGEST) will demist the problem of knowledge sharing and acquisition in Africa. This is not blog-like blockchain kind of platform for sharing knowledge, it goes ahead to provide solutions to pressing needs of organization and poor Africans, in area of knowledge application.
