Andre Gray Re-wrote the scoreline at the 92nd Minute (Goals and Highlights from Watford FC vs Leicester City)

in agfacademy •  14 days ago
This is Team Andre bringing you words from #AGFAcademy. It’s been a great day for the team after Andre scored that winning goal against Leicester City on the debut match of Brendan Rodgers. The goal came at a very late moment of the game; a superb goal that cancelled Jamie Vardy’s initial equalizer goal in the 75th minute of the game.

Another exciting thing about this goal is the fact that Andre Gray came off the bench a few minutes to the close of the game to score the winner in the 92nd minute, taking off his shirt and embracing all his team-mates.

According to Andre, this goal was fueled with so much emotions; the death of his Aunt that happened about 2 weeks ago.

“She always used to come to the home games. Most of the time I wouldn’t even know, she would just get the tickets directly from the liaison. It was important to score in a home game and do that for her.” he said.

The goal from yesterday is of course a great relief for Andre and we are so delighted to see that heaviness gradually being lifted from off his mind. He’s our star, hero and helper and we delight so much to see more of this from him.

Watch the goal below and leave your thoughts in the comment section; every word you send from this handle means a lot to Andre Gray; the video includes all other goals and extended highlights from the game.
