When I joined steemit newly, I often wondered why people had posts on their blog and why I don't have any posts on my mine. Since I am a lonely learner, I didn't bother asking anyone how to resteem posts especially when I participate in contests.
One day, I was so curious that I pressed every possible icon I found until I pressed the "resteem" icon, and I was given a prompt to resteem. I quickly pressed ok, that's how I got to resteem posts.
I resteem posts on my blog to give it a wider publication, so that people who visit my blog will see the post and support it. I also resteem post for easier access, in order to visit the posts *(mostly contests) to read about it in detail.
I'd love to learn more about "resteem post."
