The Kakum National Park has several trails linking the most interesting features of the forest where guides will tell you a lot about the interesting trees and plants, their cultural and ethnic uses, economic values and local stories and proverbs about them.

The canopy walkway receives over 120,000 visitors a year and is one of the only six in the world.
The drainage of Kakum is very rich and several rivers and cascades, including the Kakum River that supplies water to Cape Coast municipality and surrounding areas.

The beauty of the waterfalls is just amazing image

And that is me in 2011 my first time on the walkway, from my face you can tell how i was feeling that moment :) image

I have been there 3 times, and any time am on the canopy walkway it still test my braveness level. Its an amazing experience from the rich green forest to the beautiful animals, the rivers, the childrens park and yes the famous canopy walkway.I went there for the first time with the intention of not taking the walk across the bridges The irresistible views convinced me to take the plunge.

imageThe sites above the trees was breathtaking. The ecosystem at it's best. The guide was knowledgeable and agreeable to the group being able to stop and rest during the hike. The shopping at the end of the hike was great. The bargains are great. The photo opt at the end leaves you with a great picture to share your memories and to prove to the doubters that you survived the tour.

The feeling you have when you finally see this, is just soo let me say alived haha if there is a word like that. image

dude this post is going to $50 ! i shared it with a few whales and i believe @neoxian and @thejohalfiles @mcsamm @tj4real @samest @bania @xpency will all love this and I LOVE the idea of building MORE of these walkways! i want to see MORe of these made just for steemians, i wanna see treehouses and networks of these walkway built all through the rainforest, allowing us to buy more land to use for conservation, nd we can really expand and allow a rainforest Utopia to be born in the ghanian rainforest, we can make it all powered by steem and SBD and have networks of Wifi and electricity enabled tree forts where peopel can vacation in, i love this idea man, i wanna see more posts here and i wanna see us build networks of canopy bridges like these!

Its very true, we could use more of these walkway to promote ecotourism .its very rare but this place its just an amazing place to have a vacation with family and friends . i know with the hard work we all are doing here we can really do something. Thank you @ackza i appreciate bro

PLEAse come back to steem and post gain!!! ill upvote u just come show me u post in discord here https://steemspeak.com

This looks beautiful and it is amazing how many people you can hire with steem! @ackza showed me how much good you are all doing here on steem, so much money is being generated on steemit, and now foreign capital is being injected into Africa.

From this post I can see that crypto currency is already helping people in Africa. Obviously since you already made nearly $6 just off a Blog Post, I cannot imagine how much money the whole country of Ghana will make when you all start posting everyday! :D

@stefan1 steemit is just an amazing community for some of us to influence and make cash out of it to help ourselves, i am a minnow and i know with time we all will be counted among the whales :)...thank you bro and you should come visit this amazing place, you will love it

WOW I resteemed and I had @tytran look and upvote and I asked my friends on steemspeak.com to upvote and thanks for posting this in the steemspeak Africa chatroom, i LOVE this walkway THIS I S THE STUFF i want to see Ghanians Promote!

This is UNIQUELY Ghanian, Yes they do have these sorts of walkways in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru and other equatorial jungle countries, but THIS is very unique and the nature here in these AFRICAN rainforests are just INCREDIBLY unique and we MUST get Ghanians to PROMOTE this!

I want to BUILD MORE of these throughout the jungle and i wanna BUY more land in the rain forest to protect it and` monetize it in a safe way that doesn't destroy the wildlife , i wanna build walkways like these and networks of Treehouse hotels like ewok villages!

I think we can see this REALLy grow into something beautiful and profitable and it will help to preserve natural ecosystems that we should protect, and we can make MONEY off it and we can ask people to not litter and to check pockets for loose trash or foods before they go on these walkways, we should ask people to just be extra conscious bout trash on these walkways and we can help build more wand we can help build more treehouses and hotels in the trees, this is the sort of stuff I LIVE for

this is what i want to see this is the best of africa THIS is the best of Ghana THIS is the sort of stuff that allows us to promote Africa in a UNIQUE way, only a handful of places on Earth have things like this jungle canopy walkway! @tj4real showed me some jungle posts before and I see a HUGE future and @steem4depoor has his Steem Hub Shipping Containers and I see a HUGE future for @desmond41 and @emmanueloppong and the steem shop rentals we want to buy, i think this is a HUGE opportunity

Ghana has vast natural untouched rainforest here, and this is something huge people need to invest in . its just soo beautiful to be at such places. Ghana has a lot of stuff like this and you will seeing most of them from me and other Ghanaians also. @ackza i know with your hardwork and we are always here to support in every little way we can, together this dream can become a reality.:)

I would love to experience the canopy walkway. Many people speak so well of it. I have to have their experience. Feel the adrenaline rushing and the heart pumping.

@khojo its just an amazing experience trust me..you have to be there :)

That place is so relaxing like the tree house, when you are up there you can see a good overview. There is also a part which is scary - the hanging bridge. Not fit for the who are afraid of heights. Its nice to visit that place but not good to live there when you are used to internet. Maybe Steemit can help there.
Seeing this recalls my visitation in Cincona Forest in Bukidnon, Philippines. They look similar.

Oh yes the network is not stable when you are in there.its good to have experienced this :)
