Fun Day!
Spent the day running a booth at a local event focused on health and safety. The Aikido kids did a demonstration, and we taught interested visitors to our booth how to do a basic Aikido throw.
Amazing fun seeing kids empowered.
Once again, I'm exhausted! Looking forward to a lazy day tomorrow.
Personal kudos to myself: I am so glad we took this opportunity to market the dojo. I struggle with preparing for these things, and in going out there and getting people engaged (instead of simply sitting at the table of brochures.) Tomorrow I get to follow up with eight interested potential students. Even if none ultimately join, we learned a lot to apply to our next "road show".
