So I am thinking that that place where you hike, Towhee Ridge, must be where many of the Towhee birds hang around? They are pretty sparrows, and I don't know if I have actually seen one up close:

    Hi @silversaver888! Yes, I believe that's why Lynn named the place that. She is a birder and before she retire, she worked for the park systems here in Whatcom County. Take care sweet sis!❤️
