Hello everyone 😻,
Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
So without much further ado let's get into that and more 💨.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty sunny 🌞 and windy as I made my way around the park.
Later on after about 20 or so minutes, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
In the evening it was a little cloudy as I left for my sunset 🌄 walk. I did a few rounds in the neighbourhood before heading back indoors
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing😹.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas kept going resulting in 61 deaths across the strip😿. A real horror show in some areas as body parts were left in the streets, hands, legs, heads severed and torn strewn everywhere🙀. Mass murder😿.
In the other war, Russia launched its deadliest airstrikes on Ukraine in nine months🙀. 12 people killed and very many injured😿.
Trump took to social media, said he was not happy with Russian strikes on Kyiv and called on Putin to stop it🙀.
Later at the white house, he said he was pressuring Putin but insisted Kyiv needs to make concessions. The Norwegian PM stopped by for talks with Trump.
Still in the US, IMF has warned of economic uncertainty is higher than than it was during the covid pandemic🙀.
Back to Europe, London trending as the energy security summit kicked off. EU commission president Ursula Von der Leyen and PM Keir Starmer both in attendance. The EU will publish a plan to phase out Russian fuel imports by 2027.
Last night a spectacular meteor or shooting star illuminated the night skies over Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The video of it looks so wonderful💯.
