Hello everyone 😻,

Happy Easter Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report, it's the day of the moon and a new week.
I began my day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. A lovely sunny 🌞 day as I made my way around.
Next came the house chores and then later onto the trending stories from x and you tube.
The day continued being sunny 🌞 and stayed that way even as I set out for the sunset 🌄 walk.
I walked around the neighbourhood and park before heading back home and calling it a day. Hopefully tomorrow will be another sunny day.
So now let's take a quick look at what has been happening around the world.
Starting off with Gaza where Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas have killed 29 Palestinians across the strip😿. Most of the dead being displaced people as Israeli airstrikes are now hitting tent camps in the so called 'safe zones'🙀.
In the other war, Russia has continued its attacks on Ukraine following the lapse of the 30 hour Easter ceasefire🙀.
Then the biggest story from Europe is the death of Pope Francis😿, I thought he would live on a bit longer after seeing him at mass yesterday, where he went round blessing the congregation. Vatican doctors say he died from stroke and heart failure😿.
He was the 266th Pope and served for 12 years since 2013. Tributes pouring in from all over the world. He defended the poor and marginalized people often speaking of Gaza and Ukraine where murder of innocent people still going on. I don't know if we will ever see one like this one😿.
So the burial arrangement is going on then the procedure to elect a new pope will kick in. We then have to wait for white smoke as the Cardinals vote a new pope. We may see black smoke a few times if they don't agree right away.
Across the pond, Trump is warning of economic slowdown unless the federal reserve lowers interest rates immediately. Meanwhile fed chair had earlier said Trump trade policies/tariffs are the ones that will increase inflation😹.
Also trending, Trump has backed his defence secretary, Pete, following a second leak of a chat on signal app where he shared details of a Yemen attack on the houthi. Probably he should just delete the app at this point😹.
In Asia, India trending as vice president JD Vance is on a state visit to India to discuss possible trade deals with the prime minister.
Finally, Kenyans trending in the US as they won the Boston marathon both mens and womens events. The record was broken in the womens event. Congratulations team Kenya, well deserved🎊💯🎉.
