Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for, a new week and I have had a great day. It's now that time to slow down and fill you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. Thank you for reading and let's get it done 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲.
That morning breeze 🍃 was incredible..
Then I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going and so did the election campaigning.
Globally, Ukraine set to start shipping out it's grains within a week 👏. However, the Russians are not to be trusted as they bombed the port a day after signing the agreement 😱. Elsewhere in Canada, the Pope has apologized to the indigenous people who suffered decades of physical, sexual and emotional abuse in boarding schools ran by the catholic church. Many kids never made it back home and were buried haphazardly 😢.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways mostly at 22k. Let's see how this last week of July goes, do keep hodling 💯.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries. Then I headed back home for the usual nap 💤. It was amazing and I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Tunisia, there was a low turnout for the constitutional referendum. People were voting on a new constitution that gives the president ultimate authority among other retrogressive issues😬. Elsewhere, the military rulers in Myanmar executed 4 pro democracy activists 😢, the first executions since 1989😱. Meanwhile, China warns of forceful measures if US house speaker Nancy Pelosi visits Taiwan 😹.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
