Ah thanks a lot @travelfeed and @elsaenroute! I'll keep going for sure. Next big travel blog may not be for a while though as I embark on my final big tour tomorrow to the outback! Should be exciting!

A nice day for the trek you did in Australia with over 30k steps!

It really was a mixed bag of every weather condition! Sunshine, cloudy, rain... Made for a very interesting day for sure!

Posted using Partiko Android

It looks amazing there

It really is!

Amazing landscapes! And the clock!😃

Posted using Partiko Android

They sure are but that clock was wrong by about an hour so I wouldn't trust it too much 😁

Posted using Partiko Android

Oh thanks I will remember that when I go there😁

Hey what’s up Nicky, the Australian tour guide? 👍🏿 I have some touring questions myself, who better to ask than a UK native?

Check it out man, my wife and I will be in UK on the 26th and Halifax at the beginning of July. Could you recommend a few places of interest for us please, is there some places we’d be making a mistake by not checking out? Also, where would we go to catch some live Drum n Bass? Man, if you know of a venue where Mampi Swift is playing, I would love to catch him on his home turf.

Thanks in advance, Nicky, I’ll talk to you soon.

Yo Danny boy! Certainly going to be compiling loads of posts for @steemitworldmap when I get home again so people can read about all the places I've been and check them out too!

How random, Halifax? Why have you picked there? 😁 Your best bet for dnb events would be Manchester or Leeds (but my knowledge of the north isn't the greatest). Failing that, if you venture further south, Nottingham and even further south, Bristol is a haven for dnb.

Places of interest, depends what you want to do. Hiking wise, you have the Peak District to the south, Yorkshire Dales to the north of Halifax. York and Leeds are great places to walk around just for sheer architecture and history. Aunt Betty's tea room in Harrogate is pretty famous if you want that all out tea and biscuits English experience! The multimedia museum in Bradford is pretty cool as well. Depends if you like ruins but there's Whitby Abbey in Scarborough area (if you have a car).

There's loads you can do to fill your time really

This really helps us out, Nicky. Man the short version is, my wife’s father, who’s no longer with us is from Halifax. We need to retrieve his records so that she and I can acquire British passports.

This message is going to do us a lot of good—thank you! Would you happen to know the name of specific venues I should look into to catch some good DnB? Thanks again, sir! This isn’t the last you’ll hear from me, for sure, you’re the only guy I know from UK. 👍🏿

I'm sorry to hear about your wife's father. I hope you get get what you need for those passports 🤞

I don't know the names of venues unfortunately, I've not been to a rave up north, have only really been to London for Hospitality nights out. Nothing a quick Google search wouldn't sort out for you I'd imagine.

Looks like you're having a blast on your travel adventures mate :)

Love them joeys chilling out in the wet lol

It's certainly been a non stop adventure man, so much has happened and have really gone for it and left nothing on the table. May need a holiday from my holiday though 😂

Haha yea those joey's are every where in the Grampians! Even in our picnic area at the hostel lol!

Ah the plan to entice you out from under your rock worked 🙂

it also crashed my comp twice lol

Worth it 👌

That is some lovely snaps, with your expressions adding a bit of spicy. Good to read such snaps. Is that greenery little faded in its appearance. Or the climate during the trek was moody?

Anyhow good to see another trekking story..

Keep going..

It was pretty cloudy today with some sunny spells but the cloud never went away. Plus the front facing camera on my phone is only a 5mp camera so the quality isn't as high as the rear camera (I only use a smartphone).

Thanks for stopping by again! Hope all is well with you

Oh... it was like that. Nice to know the true pictures behind the virtual ones. I also rarely carries a big camera with me unless it is really an organized trip other wise I too uses only smart phone.

And would you please have some time to check my last part and sunrise part of the blog. Appreciate if you can and get some valuable feed back because honest assessment like you mentioned last week now a days is rare to find, especially from such travel freak and an expert in photos.

Check here when free

Thanks in advance and have a good day

Yes those big SLR cameras are great but not very hike friendly!

I'll see if I can catch your latest post but I'm about to embark on a 9 day travel tour around the outback so may not be so available.

A wonderful blog complete with awesome photos and great information @nickharvey Those rock formations are truly sensational.

Ah thanks a lot for stopping by @trudeehunter! I will be doing a larger blog when I get back home from this wonderful adventure and elaborate more. I use Actifit to help with the micro blogs for now so I can update my friends on here whilst I travel (and earn some steem too of course)!

I hope everything is great with you 🙂
