My Actifit Report Card: November 14 2018
Yesterday was one wet day so having a sunny day today, I took full advantage of walking around the city to my appointments. I started my morning by taking a workout class at a new studio. It is a 50 minute workout based on slow and controlled movements on a resistance based machine. It’s similar to Pilates but much harder and more intense. The workout is involves planks, squats and lunges. It was one the hardest classes I have ever taken!
After class I treated myself to a Sensory 7 Crystal Healing and Energy Bath at Modrn Sanctuary. It’s a 30 minute session on a infrared mat layered with crystals. While laying on the mat you are wearing headphones pulsating with binaural beats. Binaural beats are when you hear different frequency sounds in different ears. At the end of the session I felt totally relaxed and grounded.
I ended my day meeting a friend for a glass of wine and sharing some snacks at Landmarc. What a day of new experiences and hopefully I won't be too sore tomorrow.
