My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2019 - Fools In Love
8K on a nice but cloudy day.
The temperature was in the upper 70s when I took a medium sized walk on the walking trail this evening. That's where most of my activity is from.
I've added a lot more songs to my doo wop playlist. This music was popular in the late 50s and early 60s before the Beatles changed everything. I like these vocal harmonies. Most of the songs are love songs and some are up tempo and good for dancing!
Why Do Fools Fall in Love was a big hit in 1956 by Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers. It's similar to the song Honey Honey that I featured yesterday. The singers Frankie and Lewis Lymon were brothers from the Bronx, New York. After Frankie hit it big with this song with his group, the Teenagers, his brother Lewis with the Teenchords was signed to a record deal as well.
