14K on Valentine's Day! ❤
My education is in computer related studies with not much of the humanities. Today being Valentine's Day, the title of a poem came to my mind.
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I didn't know any more than that. I didn't know if it was a long poem or a short poem and I didn't know who it was by or when it was written. So I did what everybody does these days, I Googled it!
It's a short poem (read it here) written by Elizabeth Barrett Browning. I've heard the name but I really didn't know anything about her. So I Googled it. Apparently she was a very famous English poet writer from the mid-1800s. She had an interesting life and I'm reading her biography now.
A song comes to mind for Valentine's Day. It is called Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. It came out in the late 70s and is a little different than the Hard Rock he is known for on his own and with Cream and various other bands. I'll put it here in case you have not heard it before. It's a good song for Valentine's Day!
Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight (1977) My favorite Cream song is White Room!
I hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day and I hope everything worked out exactly as you thought it might! ❤❤👍❤❤
