As a part of me finding my feet in this new year, I'm on a mission to lose the weight I gained over the past year and a half. I've done it before- in fact, I lost 2.5 stone last time to reach my target weigh. It crept back on while I nursed and then grieved for my mum last spring and throughout the year. Worrying about what I was eating wasn't really coming anywhere close to the top of my priority list.
But now I want to get my healthy body back - take a bit of weight off of my joints and feel a bit better about myself. So - I re-joined Slimming World today (who helped me lose the weight last time) - and have committed to doing it all over again.
In typical arse-about-face style, I've joined the day before my birthday - DOH! - but maybe that'll help stop me eating allllll the cake tomorrow... we'll see :)
