Free Actifit Thumbnail Image Collection

Actifit (spam) Posts have become something of a problem on Steemit & Sportstalk.social with nearly all of them having the same Title and Thumbnail Image with just a few lines of meaningless text. I took the time to make a collection of free images that can be used to make these posts at least look a lot better without requiring much effort.

The current Actifit Plague pretty much represents everything that's wrong with the Steem right now. Everyone just wants to earn and there is a pressure to make at least 1 post a day to collect the rewards while these rewards are more or less the same regardless of the effort that was put into it for most Steemians (Even after HF21). Similar to the 1-Click-Drugwars spam posts from a while back (who were pushed to comments on tokenbb), Actifit is now 'the way to go' as it requires pretty much no effort to post making it easy to build a 'post2mine' operation on.

I don't think posts should necessarily be all about quality. It's just that it takes so little effort to 'clean up and make the shit smell good' that it's sad to see so few seem to care the slightest bit. While I hope these posts will get pushed off the platform similar to how it was handled with Drugwars. In the meantime, it would be nice to see more people at least make them look better by making a personalized Title and use different first image that makes up the thumbnail on the front page.

  • Try To Ban Lazy Actifit Posts from the @upvoteshares Project.
  • Make this Post with Free alternative Thumbnail Images free to use for Anyone submitting their Actifit Posts.

All images are taken from Free Image sites like Pexels, pxhere, ... and cropped into the 16:9 Ratio so they fit the thumbnail. A copy-paste code to include them with the source link can be found below each image (also in this Text File). Adding one of the lines on top in an actifit post will include the image it to replace the standard Actifit Thumbnail...

      I guess it's all about incentives. When getting an equal amount of AFIT tokens for a post that takes 1 minute to make why waste time taking 2 minutes to at least make it look presentable. Exactly the same happened with the drugwars spam posts a while back. I guess it needs to get to a point beyond what it is now for something to change.

          Some great choices! Very cool of you to put this together. Even though I always use lots of photos, I probably need to get a little better at perfecting my thumbnail image. 😄

                Visuals are so important especially if we want to get more people attracted to steem/sportstalk. Little of what's being written on the steem blockchain is probably being read. (which is why they removed the post view count). We should at least get the images right. I hope this helps a tiny bit.

                            That would be a step even though I'm sure most will find a way to bypass that as well. I really hope these actifit spam posts get pushed to the background some day.
