My legs are dead. Hiking seems to burden my legs differently and especially my shins just don't want to live on it anymore. I thought to myself that every walking movement today will be a pain in the ass. So why not start the day with a workout?

rmsbodybuilding challenge

I started the day today with the @rmsbodybuilding Challenge.
5 sets with 10 thrusters and 10 push-ups each. Thanks to my legs and the fact that I did the thrusters for the first time in my life, the technique was particularly crappy and I was anything but satisfied with my performance.

But it's all about never giving up, even when it's hard, painful and exhausting.
Just pull through the training. The toughness will pay off and any training is better than no training.

I intend to do his challenge every day in the morning before breakfast. It will be a good supplement.

@rmsbodybuilding is also a pretty cool guy who will be happy to help you with any questions you might have.

Smoothies

After the training I took a shower and let myself fall into my bed. I really didn't feel like moving at all, but the mere fact that I have to take at least 8000 steps a day destroyed this thought.

I decided to walk to the grocery store and buy a lot of healthy things. The walk wasn't easy, but with time it became more pleasant. I think the body has simply accepted that I don't listen to it and the sensitivity to pain has decreased xD

I bought fresh vegetables, fruit, nuts, milk, eggs, berries, salmon, turkey and pressed juice. The shopping bag was full to the brim and so I walked back home. After I arrived, I first put everything away and then prepared a healthy smoothie of kale, broccoli, currants, raspberries, curcuma, lemon, mango and a dash of grapefruit juice.
I'm going to experiment a bit more with it every day as it's a pretty easy way to feed vegetables and healthy fruit to the body.

During the day

Afterwards there was a lot of paperwork to do. By the way, I stopped by SteemIt and read the many posts of the people I follow, commented and upvoted diligently.

I also worked on my training plan and diet. There are still some building sites, but soon I will have it all ready. Bake bread rolls in small steps.

Swimming

Shortly before the upcoming swim training I put in a powernap. When I got up 30 minutes later I didn't feel like training at all. From the maximum power unit on Saturday everything still hurts me, especially shoulder and chest from bench press. And my legs from hiking yesterday. How was I supposed to swim in this condition?

While my body and head were looking for more excuses to stay in bed, I interrupted the two pussies.
"If you are physically completely exhausted, you have used up only 40% of your resources.
And I wasn't even close to being "completely exhausted. So I packed my bag and set off. So simple.

But when I stood in front of the pool I could hardly imagine how I could swim properly. I didn't even have my full arm's reach and I couldn't rely on footwork anyway.

I just swam off and it was really frustrating. It was no fun, it was just a fight: I against the 60 minutes of training.
I had briefly thought about just getting out of the pool and going home. Explain to the coach that I am a little pussy and lie down exhausted in bed.

Wait a minute. Didn't you want to join the German Armed Forces? And are you crying like that now? Where is your stamina? Your tenacity?
Get your teeth together and finish the training!!!

Said, done. At the end of the training I just wanted to go home, but I noticed 2 things: First I covered 2300 meters in 57 minutes. If I had been asked before, I would have said that it would not be more than 1500.

I also broke my records on 400m, 750m and 1000m! If it hadn't occurred to me in my life that I would manage this in my condition. If someone had told me that before the training, I would have laughed at him. I am now anything but a good swimmer, but personal best times are personal best times!

The bottom line: Stay strong and do your training! Only the hard ones come into the garden. At the moment I am really glad that I did it. Lying in bed would have been easy, but the Easy Way is rarely the right one!

PS: I have completed at least 8000 steps 75 days in a row!
