SMTs Coming To Daybit Exchange: The Beginning Of The Future. (& Our Weekly Updates)
SMTs On Daybit Exchange
In an initiative lead by Steemhunt team, we are happy to announce that Actifit decided to, alongside several Steem dapps, join the first move towards having Steem-based tokens (future SMTs) available on an active exchange, namely Daybit exchange.
We believe this move opens the doors towards a large market growth for Steem projects/dapps, and for the Steem blockchain overall, utilizing existing protocol (ERC20), which was initially one of the options for Actifit upon its initiation, until SMTs are made available.
Relying on this protocol allows future expansion to all projects on a bulk of exchanges, as it is the industry's current standard. Later swap to SMTs is planned once they are available as detailed in the plan below.
Projects & Dapps Taking Part
Several Steem-based dapps & projects decided to be among the first batch to join this initiative, and those include @steemhunt, @actifit, @esteemapp, @utopian-io, @fundition, @tasteem, @trips.teem, @dclick, @ntopaz, @kpopsteem.
Other projects have shown interest in the project already, and might join soon.
MoU & Action Plan
Via this move, and based on an MoU that was signed between our friends at @steemhunt and Daybit, below is the projected action plan:
- Listing STEEM and SBD on Daybit.
- Listing an interim version of SMT-projected tokens on Daybit with STEEM trade pairs. The tokens will be listed under an existing standard such as ERC20.
- Supporting raising funds for SMT projects via Initial Exchange Offering process, supported by Daybit.
- Once SMTs are launched, Daybit to support token swap of those interim tokens to the full SMT version.
- Supporting FIAT trade pairs for the SMT tokens with enough market volume.
We will commence in the coming few days more detailed & direct discussions with the Daybit team on a project by project basis to work out all the details.
Why Not Steem Engine?
As we mentioned in last week's update, we had booked our AFIT tokens on steem-engine, a great initiative by @aggroed and team.
Yet as we were pursuing the other initiative with Daybit, we believe to reach a wide-spread growth, adoption, and raise funds, we need proper entry points to platforms and exchanges via existing protocols, and this move comes as a potential first initiative to accomplish that, hence our decision to move ahead with it instead.
Daybit Exchange
Daybit is a Korean-based exchange, which has had a fast & successful launch reaching top 12 exchanges within 12 weeks of its launch. A product of a large blockchain company, Chain Partners, it has the potential to rebound again. The current stance makes it a perfect opportunity for both Steem-based tokens and the exchange itself to kick off a very fruitful and successful launch, reflecting positively to both ends.
Feel free to checkout and join Daybit exchange as we get ready to kick this off!
AFIT Token Listing, Stats, & STEEM Payouts Sent
During last week, our different actifitters and delegators piled up more tokens. To date, Actifit has distributed over 24.3 Million AFIT tokens, to 37K+ token holders and 54K+ reported activity.
We also sent out today our weekly STEEM delegators share, which went out to 441 delegators (compared to 439 last week), with a total amount of 191.363 STEEM and 0.775 SBD (compared to 174.183 STEEM and 0.011 SBD last week).
P.S.: STEEM amount includes both SP and STEEM rewards for delegators, whereby each delegator receives liquid STEEM as a total for both amounts.
Back to AFIT tokens. As per our weekly approach, you can check out our top 100 AFIT token holders below.
Keep in mind that you can check your AFIT token balance by visiting actifit.io or via our mobile app Android or iOS.

A kind reminder to all actifitters: some versions of esteem app still cause issues when used to edit your reports, via removing essential info Actifit uses to identify proper reports. This prevents related reports from receiving rewards.
Until this issue is officially fixed via the esteem team, we advise that you use other Steem interfaces for editing, including our own actifit.io, steemit, busy or others.

Accordingly, @actifit account is now at 270,305 SP
Thank you to all delegators for the wonderful support! To see the list of all our delegators, check out actifit.io/delegators
The amount of delegated SP has a large influence over not only the daily/weekly delegation reward, but also on the amount of rewards the actifitter receives on daily reports, as it constitutes a key element in User Rank.
Which is why being an Actifit delegator now has more influence on your rewards, coupled with number of AFIT tokens and other factors highlighted before.
Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.
Since many ask, here we describe again an easy way to calculate your AFIT tokens for a full day of delegations:
(Your Delegated SP) * 100,000 AFIT MAX / (Actifit Account Delegated SP - without account own SP and any delegators who opted out).
So for instance if you had delegated 100 SP, your daily earnings would be around:
100 * 100,000 / 258,000 = 38.75 AFITs
We are appreciative of more delegations to be able to better award actifitters and support our project, so thank you for doing that !
When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.
@actifit Team
To delegate to Actifit, you can use any of the following links:
10SP, 20SP, 30SP, 50SP, 100SP, 250SP, 500SP, 1,000SP, 5,000SP, 10,000SP, 20,000SP, Custom Amount
Make sure you have at least 15 SP left on your account.

@actifit team
Hello, @actifit!
Thank you for another rather informative update. It's great to read the news regarding the upcoming listing on Daybit; as I have said before, the future looks bright. The action plan looks solid, and Daybit is a trusted exchange with huge potential.
Once again, your post is detailed and well-illustrated with relevant graphic content and dividers. The post is also extensive and editorial, and contains useful information regarding your witness and delegation status, as well as the recent developments. I appreciate the fact that you presented all the information in a simplified manner; your posts are always fun to read, and that was the case this time as well.
In conclusion, this is another nice contribution from you. I look forward to your next one.

Thank you for your review, @lordneroo! Keep up the good work!
Awesome work team! I’m excited for this new exchange.
Definitely an interesting prospect. We will all be watching eagerly to see how it all plays out with the tokens and the exchange. It's a pity that SMT's aren't on the radar for the moment but this is still a good move.
The move towards Daybit is bittersweet but totally understandable given the needs for projects to be funded and creating an active market for the assets. However, it also brings the added layer of needing interoperability with another blockchain considering its use of ERC-20 protocols. I look forward to the developments and the future it can bring to the great Dapps being developed!

WOW! at last! you did it!... what a great move! We believe in you!
Let's start the real deal! :P~~~~
Nice update team happy to hear that.....i really wish to see even actifit token on exchange...soon
Posted using Partiko Android
A courageous move, I would say. Never heard of Daybit which is no hindrance not to use ti, of course :)
So, when I understand it correctly:
Correct?
Is there any trading planned before SMT launch?
Thanks for your answers and sorry when I misunderstood anything ...
Thank you @ervin-lemark,
Although the discussion is about to initialize directly with Daybit to thoroughly understand how it will go, yet our perception is as follows in terms of answering your questions:
Actually the intention is to have the tokens as full ERC20, so as they will be available for use on any other exchange, store-able on ETH wallets, and as the migration is ready they will be swapped back to SMTs.
Not fake tokens, real tokens, and yes they will be migrated back to SMTs.
Once we go live with Daybit exchange, with ERC20 tokens, you will be able to directly trade them against any assets, such as BTC or others that are supported on Daybit. In terms of FIAT, I believe being a korean exchange they would only support KRW (Korean currency)
I believe the above answers that, but also we are planning an even sooner approach to allow exchanging AFIT tokens, if it works we will announce it ASAP :)
Thanks a lot for all your answers.
I believe you are aware of the issue with all the ERC20 tokens. You need the proper ETH wallet (OK, web wallet will do) and some liquid ETH in it when you want to move these tokens to pay for gas.
Of course, you don't need this when you are using exchanges only.
There is this distinction between the exchange wallet and real ETH wallet (including with the story who is in control of the private keys) that people skip to understand.
And then there is ethereum gas, one of the more obscure concepts in the blockchain world :)
I hope that all goes well and that there won't be any unnecessary confusion...
Very exciting times for us steemians, and Actifiters.
But why cant actifit launch on Steem Engine and this kther exchange? Too much at one time?
Posted using Partiko Android
They have different protocols for tokens, and although not impossible yet it would complicate things. Our decision right now does not alienate any other options, as we might also launch another interim solution for exchanging AFIT tokens based on our current setup for tracking tokens. Stay tuned.
Love the progress that both actifit and the whole SMT community are making. Great things coming
When is Daybit going to start listing STEEM and SBD.. I don't see it currently..
As mentioned on the plans, first step is listing STEEM and SBD, which should happen around March in a few weeks :)
Excellent @mcfarhat, I am excited to see this growth with @actifit. The world is getting more fitnesses conscious, and I believe this will catch on like wildfire!
My older son works for a large oil refinery, and they provide Fitbit’s for both him and his wife for free. The idea is if there employee’s and there families stay healthy there family’s health cost will be reduced.
With @actifit is syncing with Fitbit, and Steem listed on another exchange, I see this growing exponentially 🤗
Resteemed 😊
