My Actifit Blog: 30 July 2019 Can I still reach my goal of 6000 km by the end of the year?

On 1 January I set myself the goal of 6000 km by the end of the year. That would be an increase of 1000 km from last year.
This would be equivalent to an average monthly distance of 500 km. We have now end of July, so I should have managed about 3500 km.
Unfortunately I am still far away from it. I didn't expect that running would be so much fun for me. Naturally, I can't run nearly as many kilometers per time unit as I could when cycling.
We'll see how that develops. I don't want to give up my goal, but I don't want to reduce running either. Investing more time is also not so easy for me.
Am 1. Januar hab ich mir das Ziel von 6000 km bis zum Ende des Jahres gesetzt. Das wäre eine Steigerun um 1000 km vom Vorjahr.
Dies würde einer durchschnittlichen Monatsdistanz von 500 km entsprechen. Wir haben jetzt Ende Juli, ich müsste also ca. 3500 km geschafft haben.
Davon bin ich leider noch weit davon entfernt. Ich habe nicht damit gerechnet, dass mir das Laufen so viel Spaß macht. Naturgemäß kann ich beim Laufen pro Zeiteinheit nicht annähernd so viel Kilometer zurücklegen wie beim Radfahren.
Wir werden sehen, wie sich das weiterentwickelt. Mein Ziel möchte ich nicht aufgeben, das Laufen aber auch nicht reduzieren. Mehr Zeit zu investieren ist für mich auch nicht so einfach möglich.
