Tree growing among the ruins of ancient buildings at the location of Indra Patra Fort at Ladong, Aceh Besar, approximately 100 meters from the beach.

In one mentioned history, Indra Patra Fortress was built during the kingdom of Aceh Darussalam in the 16th century when it was raging naval war with the Portuguese. This fort functioned for concentration and logistics forces on the mainland.
