Mystery of the Madame Kathelijn in Tahura House

Aceh may not be as famous as Bali Islan as one of the favorite tourism destination in Indonesia. However, Aceh also has a natural attraction variety that makes many tourist come to visit. The beauty of nature in Aceh certainly provide an attractive spot for spending a vacation. One of the most interesting vacation spots in Aceh is the Pocut Meurah Intan forest park. This forest park is very interesting with various types of protected flora and fauna.

Its located in Saree, Lembah Seulawah Sub-district, Aceh Besar District. If you want to get to this resort, you have to travel about 60 kilometers or approximately 1 hour road drives from Banda Aceh. This forest park is located between the seashore of Mount Seulawah Inong and Seulawah Agam.

But behind the charm and beauty of this Tahura, it turns out here also store a mystical story. It is said according to residents, in one house type Scooby Do is often the appearance of a blonde woman figure. According to the residents, the woman is Noni from the Netherlands because based on historical facts this house is a former villa owned by a Dutch general.

The Dutch woman was named Kathelijn. This lady is tall, slightly tall. When the appearance, this figure always wear a long-sleeved shirt that flowering arise in the chest. Swallow a loose long skirt at the bottom but tie the buttocks at the top.

The woman admits to waiting for her husband, Dirck who is in charge of the Aceh fighters in Kutaraja (Banda Aceh city). However, her husband never came home. A week later she heard the news that her husband was dead on the battlefield.

Although this place is considered mystical, but did not discourage my steps and my intention to see the whole room of the house that has now been transformed into a mini library. To me, this house is very beautiful and special site.
