Hidden History In The Hills Of Gle Jong Lamno

in #aceh7 years ago (edited)

Although new tasks are increasing, but historical facts must be revealed. A small hill located on the beach, directly facing the Indian Ocean, located about 60 kilometers from the city of Banda Aceh, has revealed a surprising fact.

After receiving some information from a friend named Aqsa, on June 14, 2015, we from mapesa made an initial expedition to the area.

This hill has become a jungle, its full of large and shady trees. On the road, only the sound of monkeys and birds chirping, also the sound of big waves accompanying our journey. We kept walking, with our eyes looking left and right. The farther, and more visible signs of ancient life that filled this area.

There are some points we encountered around this place, with a distance of about 500 meters from each point. This is very interesting, each point has different characteristics, from the form of ornaments as well as art.

Recording number of discoveries, and re-mapping.

The rabin process, for sample studies.

There are several types of tombstones we have ever met in this place, with different time period, from the time Kingdom of Samudera Pasai , Lamuri, until the end of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam.

The chalk in the inscription is written on the tombstone.

There are many artifacts relics of the kingdom of Meureuhom Daya in this place has not been revealed. History has noted that, the kingdom of Meureuhom Daya, It is one of the powerful kingdoms in Aceh, besides Pedir, Pasai, and Lamuri, in defending attacks from Portuguese.

These are some pictures of our expedition in the hills of Gle Jong Lamno Aceh.

On our next trip, we are from @mapesa @steemwart, @asyisteem, as well as some other friends who rearrange all these tombstones.
