Movies Review ; Bad Boys for Life (2020)

the movie Bad Boys for Life aired in theaters on January 17, 2020., There was a lot of hope from the funny couple detective couple Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Both of them returned to action for the last time to eradicate a very heinous villain.
this time Will Smith returned to the catapult name Mike Lowrey since the 90s.

If you look at the storyline, in this film tells the story of revenge from one of the mafia families who has completed their history by Mike and Markus, finally breaking Mike's title as a bulletproof police officer. Mike was covered in blood in a crowd after being bombarded with bullets by someone who felt entitled to take revenge on him.
After six months of recovery, Mike wanted to return the bullets that rained down on his chest, to make him comatose.
Unfortunately, his colleague Mark has promised to retire and refuses to help Mike get revenge. Likewise the captain, rejected Mike's involvement in the investigation of his attack.

Mike was disappointed, and decided to act on his own. In the middle of his investigation, Mike finally managed to find who the perpetrators who shot him. But he was truly shocked by the fact that, the reason for the perpetrator's revenge was far more personal.

Overall, the story of this third sequel in my opinion is even worse than the second series. There are more conflicts, including family conflicts that we often experience everyday.

Quite a few new characters in three funny films detective couple. In addition Armas mothers and children are plotted as the ringleaders.

The majority of the new characters present are those who are involved in Mike's personal life. As we know, Mike is described as a man who likes to be single to change partners as often as possible.

Well, in the film that seems to be the Bad Boys cover series, Mike has to finish it all. While in almost 3/4 this film tells the different figure of Marcus for his choice to retire.
Like the film depicting the war on Mexican drug cartels, several actors and actresses present, apparently deliberately chosen from the ranks of Latin American artists, - especially Kate del Castillo.
There was also Paola Nuñez, Mike's colleague who was appointed as AMMO leader, - a modern inquiry division formed by Captain Howard.
The old characters that still appear in this film besides Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are Joe Pantoliano (Captain Howard), Theresa Randle (Marcus's Wife) and Dennis Greene, who remain Regie. The figure that doesn't need to be said makes the audience laugh at his 'geeky'.
Behind the frenetic action scenes from this film, some trivial things that I see are illogical and natural. This also happened in the previous two films. For those of you who follow the film saga, surely you know where Mike got the nickname from the gun detective.
The most ambiguous is the opening scene where Mike and Marcus drive the latest Porche carelessly on the streets of Miami. But once again, Reggie's appearance that closes this scene makes the audience laugh out loud and forget the scene that I thought was rather absurd.
Although the director is different, but the film Scoring that was present throughout the film seems intentionally made identical to the second series Bad Boys released in 2003.
What also hasn't changed and is worth the wait is of course the funny dialogue between Mike and Marcus, even in the midst of them facing danger. Even if the joke is heard, it's not from the type of joke that will remain in our heads for a long time.
I must admit, this film is very entertaining for potential viewers who are looking for a combination of action films plus comedy. You have to admit, Martin Lawrence is still a legendary and iconic comedian.
The plot of the story also often touches, even though it doesn't make us cry. because Martin's joke made the audience laugh at the sad story that appeared at the same time.
Overall, the film is rather absurd in many scenes, but entertaining and also of high quality.
