RE: Podcast - Dan Larimer: EOS - The Decentralized Operating System - Epicenter 197

in #eos7 years ago

Considering that EOS is Ethereum On Steroids, this scenario is realistic. A lot of fresh money is coming into crypto and most of these speculators do not understand the difference between a useless (or obsolete) coin and a valuable blockchain project. I would say that crypto is not in a bubble, but actually, the understanding of crypto is in a shallow phase. You just have to look at the actual capitalization based on marketing and web site design. Eventually, the market will adapt to the real challenges of blockchain projects, and the money will flow back into EOS, Bitshares and Steem and possibly other DPOS blockchains. I suspect that more serious investors are coming into the space during the following months. They already understand that BTC and ETH are doomed and controlled by minors, that NEM is only a fork of NXT, that ZEC is only a blockchain 1.1 project, and so on, and that PERFORMANCE, DECENTRALIZATION AND GOVERNANCE REALLY MATTERS. This leaves less than 10 projects geared toward Blockchain 3.0. EOS, BitShares and Steem are part of the selected few.
