I was interested if there was more to this, like, did it land? So I did the following fairly simple process:

1. Right-click the animated image and "Search Google for image".
2. Found an image, clicked it, and it led me to the below article.

It does land. :) And I was correct, it looked like it was moving to the left; it lands in the yard of the house behind the swingset.

And then, at 0:20, a little girl runs out, looks around, puts her hand to her mouth, and walks slowly back, then points in the direction it landed (someone else is apparently off-camera, perhaps her mother?). She reminded me of Ricky in "Better Off Dead" when he loses the balloon -- his little jump at 15 seconds:
