this black bear figured out what an outside refrigerator was. How to open it and that it was full of food. We added locks to the refrigerator and bolted it to the wall so the bear would not knock it over. The bear did not give up after that, one night he was standing at the back door looking through the glass. So we had to call the wildlife officers to see what could be done. We did not want the bear coming into the house. they decided to trap the bear in hopes to instill fear of humans to stop it from coming around looking for food. He was not hurt. The biologist took him away for what ever test they run. Then he was returned and let go.
