Ranup

Ranup is one of the monumental art works taught by Acehnese artists. Lupine ability in the Aceh language, means betel in puan. Puan is a typical place of betel Aceh. The dance work of this customary background choreographically tells how the habits of the people of Aceh to welcome this guest every movement has its own meaning. Like greeting greeting, picking betel then buy stalks, clean betel, brushed chalk, then give gambir and areca nut, until presenting betel to come.
