Welcome back everyone! How are you all doing this weekend?
Today, @zulman coming to you again with this blog to discuss another classic video game. Here, I will try to give my best to discuss the video games that were released before the year 2000s. I will give you the best of my review of the video game. With this classic games review, I hope I could share my experience and bring you some good information about the classic video games.
In this article, I am going to give you the information about the video game. I am going to give you all the information you need about the video game and also the information on how you can play the game if you like to try to play it. In fact, I will also describe the tutorial how to install the game in your current computer and in you want, I will also give you where you can find and download the game and also play it online if you do not want to install it on your own computer.
With this review, I also hope that it can bring back the sweet memories that you found by reading the article. The video game that i am going to review perhaps, a video game that you've never play or even heard before. If that is the case, I hope this article can give you some knowledge about the game and persuade you to play the game and have fun with it. Alright, now, let's start the discussion about the game.
TERMINAL VELOCITY is a video game that belongs to the genre of a simulation video game. The video game was originally developed by a company called Terminal Reality. The publisher of the video game is 3D Realms company, this company is a well-known company in term of publishing and developing video game as well, especially in the old days. Terminal Velocity was released in the year of 1995 and was released for MS-DOS, Windows 95, and MacSoft for Mac OS. The game is played as an arcade-style flight combat. The control and the physics of this video game are very simple if we compared to the flight simulators. This video game was well known for it's fast, high-energy in term of the action sequences.
Beside the TERMINAL VELOCITY video game, Terminal Reality also developed another video game that was similar to Terminal Velocity. The game called "Fury3" and published in the same year with Terminal Velocity by Microsoft. The similarity between these two games is uncanny, Fury3 also used the same engine as Terminal Velocity as well as the mechanics of the game. However, the only difference is that Fury3 was originally designed to run natively on the new Windows 95 Operating system. Many considered that the fury3 only add a little in term of gameplay to terminal velocity.

There is a reviewer of this game called Next Generation that says the game is very fun to play. They also state that the video game has a uniquely wide variety of open locales. They argue that the video game a first-person shooter video game and not fall into a simulation genre video game.
TERMINAL VELOCITY Gameplay & Plot.
In term of the story-line, this video game was set the future, exactly in the year 2074. In that year, one of the members of an Alliance of Space-Faring Alien Races or ASFAR for short that come from earth suddenly turn against the Earth. He even command a fleet to ravages the planet and starting a war. Because of this, a powerful starfighter that flight with TV-202 ship need to defend the earth and eliminate the enemies in a series of a mission.
There are multiple episodes in the video game. For example in Episode 3, the player of the game need to learn that there is a huge supercomputer that was located on Proxima Seven. The supercomputer is called Xenocidic Initiative or X. I for short is the one that was responsible for the war that happened against the Earth. So, the final objectives of the player are that to eliminate the supercomputer.
Beside the main mission of the game, there are also some of the hidden mission that the player needs to finish. However, this hidden mission only available for the CD ROM version of the game. In this hidden mission, the player needs to investigate a sudden metamorphosis that occurs in an unknown nearby planet. The player also needs to destroy the force that changed the look of the planet. Later on, the player knew that the one who responsible for the sudden metamorphosis is a force that was driven by a supercomputer by accidentally digitized a man named "Sy Wickens" persona.
In term of the gameplay, the player of this video game needs to fly a ship at low speed without falling to the ground. The craft of the player also can be changed in term of it course instantly because there is no inertia. In the game, there are 7 different weapons available, those weapons are guns, blasters, and rockets. There are also homing missions and a rare secret weapon. In addition to this, the ship also possesses a powerful attribute that can make the ship to move at a very high speed when the player needs to evade the attacks from the enemies. However, these abilities will make the return fire temporarily disabled. The craft of the player can also sustain some hits, it even able to sustain some collisions with the terrain.
The video game has 27 missions in total that consist of several objectives. The objectives for example are enemies that must be destroyed, tunnel entrances and exits as well, a mere checkpoints, and an extraction point.

What I think about TERMINAL VELOCITY?
The video game is a bit difficult to play, but it has a very fun storyline and gameplay. I personally think that the game is a very good game to play. Considered it is a classic game, I can understand why the game is popular in its era. Then, I also want to mention that this video game contains some violent scene. Parents, make sure to supervise your kids if they play this game.
