Cartoon Pickled Egg Recipe
I just saw a few very interesting recipe posts.
Then I remembered - I actually made a cartoon recipe for making pickled eggs.
I don’t recall the exact circumstances that caused me to draw this thing — I just get an idea once in awhile - and I go for it.
It’s a great recipe (by the way) — if you are the type of person who enjoys a delightful cured egg ...

Excellent!! The style of this piece evokes an adult version of the kids' magazine Highlights. I've never eaten a pickled egg, mostly because the idea of a sour room-temperature egg from a jar on a counter has always been off-putting. But after seeing your recipe, I am interested in making these eggs ☺

What I might change is use a handful (yes handful) of peppercorns instead of ground pepper.
The more peppercorn the better, I always say!
