STEEMCHURCH: The different aspects of judging people
Hello parishioners and apostles of the @steemchurch. First, I would love to appreciate @sirknight for initiating the @steemchurch. Joining this crusade of freedom is a life changer. Today, I will talk about "Judging others". Every Christan knows the rule "do not judge people" but does it mean we should not speak out against wrong manners. The Bible talks about two ways of judging other people. First is judging other people's motive and the other is judging thier actions.
In the Bible, Matthew 7:1-6 talks extensively about judging others and taking a deeper look into the these scriptures will put will provide a better understanding about what it entails to judge other people.
When Jesus preached on the Mount where in talked about judging and like I said earlier,there are two categories of judging where the first is judging a person's motive. This type of judgement is a sin because in the teaching on the Mount in Matthew 7:1-2,
“Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.
In the scriptures above it was clearly stated that we are not to judge people if we are wrong of the same sin ourselves. From the scripture, we also see that we it is impossible to judge other people's motives because we are not clean ourselves as our hearts and motivations are sinful by default.
The other type of judgement is judging a person's action which is not a sin. In Matthew 7:3-4
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”
From the passage above, we can see that we are allowed to judge other people but based on the fact that we are exonerated. Also Matthew 7:5-6, it tells us that judging someone's actions without been free from the sin only makes us hypocrites, which is what we see in the lives of christians today where they do not practice what they preach.
You hypocrite, first get the beam of timber out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the tiny particle out of your brother's eye.
Do not give that which is holy (the sacred thing) to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before hogs, lest they trample upon them with their feet and turn and tear you in pieces. In life when you point a finger at someone, we have to remember the remaining four fingers are pointing back at you. Therefore, judge yourselves before judging other people. The scriptures says with the way we are judging people, that is how we will be judged.

The bible talks about judging people a number of times. The scriptures says "Let he who is without sin, be the first to cast a stone". When all have our flaws, when we judge others we act as if we are saints. Thanks for sharing.
what i got is the lesson that we shouldnt point on other person without 100% proof
The scriptures said do not judge and be judged for all are sinners before God and the only person who can Judge as is Him for he has never sinned before.
Jesus especially, preached against judging people, that was why he said work unto the Phariseess.
They judged people yet they themselves are but sinners and are guilty of sins.
If we look at the old testament we saw how Mariam judged Moses for marrying from a strange tribe and suffered the consequences.
That's why we mustn't judge, we must allow God to do the judging.

makes us to understand that anyone who judges his neighbor likewise will also be judged practically. Some persons have the habit of amplifying flaws of other person's why they have the bigger flaws.
Even in the case of mary magdalen and those who wanted to stone her to death we can see that no one is exempted from that which we accuse oyhers of so is not proper to judge any either stereotypically and otherwise.

In this present world it is very wrong and improper to point accusing finger take a scenario in the Bible of the adulterous woman who was accused of adultery Jesus clearly pointed out that judging your fellow humans is bad he went further saying let he amongst the men accusing her without sin first cast a stone at her and they all left,Jesus also said to her 'I also do not condemn you, go and sin no more'. And Matthew 7:1 makes us to understand that anyone who judges his neighbor likewise will also be judged practically. Do not attempt to judge someine for the little sin he had committed , you who is judging the person isbalso guilty of the same sin .
In the bible when the pharasese wanted to kill the prostitute for her sins ,Jesus showed that no man had the power to punish others for their sins since they are guilty if the same offence.
Thise who judge will definiatelky be judged at the last day.
If you see that someone is not doing the right thing advice him and put him or her through the word of God
In the world of today, we are very quick to judge others, without even knowing them.. It doesn't help at all, we should learn to see things from different angles and learn to advise and encourage those we feel are doing bad instead of judge them..
