NATO is a War Machine

I'm not a Trump supporter, but his opponents keep bashing him for all the wrong reasons. Trump's criticism of NATO is one of those things.

Why are we even in NATO? It's nothing more a warmongering military industrial machine.

The same people who say we need to cut defense spending also want to remain part of NATO. This makes no sense. If you are anti-war and pro-peace, you should oppose NATO.

What is NATO trying to accomplish right now?:

Trying to restart the Cold War against Russia.

What have they accomplished in the Past?:

The Civil War in Yugoslavia

the Kosovo intervention

the war in Afghanistan

the war in Iraq

and the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya...among others.

Why were any of these things necessary? Is the world any safer now because of NATO actions?...or is the world now a more dangerous place?
