My best friend with her parents, and although they all lived in the same house, her father was with them very little, that is, his presence was absent. So they spent a few years and their parents, despite living in the same house, separated. Until one day his father left, and did not even help them financially, he just disappeared.

My best friend's mother could control the house, where the two now lived. She was not economically stable, but at least her mother was making efforts to support my best friend, who did not have any kind of subsidy from her father. This same about 3 years later appears again, making threats to his mother and my friend.

Out of fear or out of ignorance, my best friend's mother decided to go to CPS and wait for her security to be monitored, but here the problems started. A series of procedures showed that her mother did not have the financial capacity to care for my best friend. To which she was sent to a shelter that generated repercussions and to her mother great despair.

My best friend could not sleep, she got sick constantly and she did not even have contact with her mother, she was in the shelter, the visit was not allowed for a reason. What could my best friend think? What is the mother who left, who left there ... No wonder how to explain a situation to such a child? She felt guilty and abandoned.

The objectives of social services are not a necessary child when they only take the children of their parents who really want to do so. My best friend spent more than 4 years here and I wanted everyone to understand the consequences that generated in her when she spent those years in that refuge, although finally the court returned custody of her mother, for them the mother had another job and had a Long fight in court to have your little one again.

Finally, I was back together, my best friend has had serious repercussions of them in the fear of being abandoned and has had certain difficulties to establish bonds of trust with people and even in their emotional life later.

CPS must understand that the place of the children is with their parents, in loving families, in shelters where they feel fear, loneliness and even feelings of depression and abandonment.
