Sunday Multivitamins | Just The Good Stuff
With the long weekend just around the corner, I caught my colleague peering out the window as we approached the final hour at work on Friday. I totally feel him. It couldn't have been more timely because I was craving for a long weekend and it so happened to be Wesak Day on Sunday. Hence, Monday is a holiday. Just like my colleague in the photo, I too long for the weekend because there were so many things to look forward to. Movie, boardgame, good food and good company.
I think to start it off, the colleagues and I had our Happy Friday Lunch where we would drive out somewhere to have better food compared to the other days of the week. Everything on Friday MUST be awesome to celebrate how hard we've all worked throughout the week, so it's only right to pamper ourselves a little. A colleague introduced us to a nice non halal banana leaf rice shop.

The girl on the left asked me, "zord, how come you suddenly want to take a photo of us?"
"Well, I want to end the weekdays happy with a nice group photo", was what I said to her.
We rarely set up ourselves for a group photo like this as I believe I'm the only one only eager to take wefie because you know....for Steem sake and content. So it is a rare occasion for me to whip out my camera on Friday with the colleagues. Nevertheless, I wanted to end the day awesome.
Pikachu Night
I was actually looking forward to the Friday movie night where my friends and I have planned to go watch the newly released, Pikachu Movie. Even when my friends have told me that the movie sucked, I wanted to go watch because of Pikachu's cuteness, and mainly also it was with good company.
Our Dinner
My friend introduced us to a special eatery, hotpot. Basically, you take a huge bowl and take any ingredient you want and put them in your pot. The price is then dependant on the weight of the bowl. This being my first time, I kinda took a little too much for the three of us but as I've mentioned before, A full tummy is a happy tummy!

Saturday Boardgame and Playing Cupid
Another bunch of friends and I have also planned another boardgame session at a nice chillout place called Zhong Shan. It was an apartment building but the lots are mainly renovated into coffee houses, teahouse, and shops selling local made goods. It quickly became our favourite spot to find good drinks and to spend the entire day playing Betrayal at house on the hill. A boardgame that will eventually ruin the closest of friendships but I think we'll get through it just fine. Haha.
What about the playing cupid part?
Well you see, when we first started our boardgame session at the teahouse in Zhong Shan, my friend was gawking at one of the owner's bubbly personality and he couldn't wait to come back here just to see this girl. So I made it a mission to help him find this girl again when we go for our boardgame session.
The singing balcony
We had our brunch first before heading upstairs to the teahouse. This brunch place is also somewhat special because at a certain time and date, there would be students from the opera school on the top floor singing to us from the balcony. It's called the singing balcony. Unfortunately, there wasn't any on Saturday so I ordered my sourdough braised chicken sandwich and we quickly head up to the teahouse to play our board game and in hopes to find the girl my friend adored.

As I was pondering on what to write for my weekly Sunday Multivitamins, I just thought I would just share the good stuff that went on this week. The positive vibes, good food and good people. I would like to one day look back and read all these posts and know that I've made good memories.
