Oneplus does not steal customer information anymore

in #mobile9 years ago

There was a complaint against Vanplus for stealing customer information from a smartphone. A few days the news was published seriously by the media. The Chinese smartphone maker Vanplas has said that it will not steal the customer's information during the report.
"We keep very much of our customers and their information in secret," Van PayPal co-founder Karl Pai Vanplus Forum said in a post. "We kept the device's information in order to collect sales data. However, you will not be able to get information about your device from the user experience program.
Many handset manufacturers collect regular information to know how customers are using the device. However, a security researcher was scared to see the amount of data collected by the Vanplus. Researchers found that the smartphone was collected by IMEI, phone number, mac address, mobile network name and IMSI prefix. The Press The Verge published a report with these information.
