Italian vacations. Day 2 - Salerno

It is my first time in Salerno. I've never seen Italy south of Rome. I love winter in Italy, because it emphasise that Italy is quite special. Everything here is different: the rain, the sky, plants, sea and mountains, even exhaust gases :)

Salerno is a small cozy town by the sea with its own different charm. The 2 my strongest imprettion from this day is the crypt of St Matthew's Cathedral and storm on the sea. Also I've found the best prosciutto in my life :)

When I saw the crypt... I can't describe my feelings by words. Fairy, magic, delight.... You know, I mean, look.

In the evening Salerno shines with bright diverse new year lights.

I'll present more detailed report with photos of better quality after my return. Until then, have a nice time and stay tuned to see where we shall go tomorrow!

P. S. The big difference between Rome and Salerno in winter is that in Rome they turn on heating sometimes too much while in Salerno... seems that there is not heating at all....
