Gibbons, an endangered primate animal - MyPictureDay Submission
Hi all my friends in Steemit, how are you this week? Hopefully keep a good activity and full of passion!
This is my entry for #mypictureday challenge #photography by @timsaid this week. On the #mypictureday challenge this week I'm sending some photos that are different from the usual ones. In general, who follow this challenge many who send photos of nature, urban, landscapes, and so forth.
This is the picture I took about the condition of a primate animal called gibbons or in Indonesia called the name of siamang. I shot this picture when I saw a gibbon confined in captivity illegally.
Now his condition is very worrying, other than his body that started itching itch, his health condition looks not so good, because less attention given by the nanny now.
Gibbon or siamang (Symphalangus syndactylus) is one of the primate species located on the island of Sumatra. In addition, the gibbon population can only be found in Peninsular Malaysia and some areas of Thailand. Unfortunately, now the status of mosquitoes is in an endangered category. And in Indonesia alone gibbons are one of the primates belonging to an animal species that is protected by law.
