Last year, Microsoft had to disconnect the AI that it was working on since it started to reply with racist comments.
Now, we see Facebook enter the world of underage sex.
The other night, the company spent hours apologizing for autofill results that were disturbing.

Facebook had this to say:
“As soon as we became aware of these offensive predictions we removed them. Facebook search predictions are representative of what people may be searching for on Facebook and are not necessarily reflective of actual content on the platform.
We do not allow sexually explicit imagery, and we are committed to keeping such content off of our site.”
This follows Facebook having to defend asking the users if it was okay for adults to solicit "sexual pictures" from minors on its platform.

Facewhat always apologize, that s all they do. Recently they can’t keep up with apologizing! It’s so hypocritical of them. They at the same time criticize for the same things. I’m glad to be on steemit and not in Facewhat. Sex predators and pedofiles won’t succeed here on steemit. They get flagged before they push the post button.
This is irresponsible of facebook. Next time we shall be seeing auto fill results directing users to extreme violence content. With over 2 billion active users, a single second of uncensored content on the platform will have an influence on a new dirty behavior being adopted by someone who accidentally saw it.. Especially for the children still at their tender age and yet we see lots of 11 year olds active on the social platform. Children are at a higher risk of adopting negative behaviors when exposed to dirty content and any site that they are involved in needs to be highly secure from this content.

Since I dont watch it, I have no idea, but was this story spread all across their headlines? Did they lead in with this on CNBC and other programs?
I doubt it.
It is amazing anyone defends this company. Facebook is repeatedly getting caught doing things. Now, we are seeing something every couple of weeks which shows how sinister and diabolical they are.
Sure, this could be attributed to an autocorrect problem. Yet after asking people if they want think asking for underage sexual content is okay, it makes one wonder.
I believe these people float things out there to see how the reaction is. If it went unnoticed, they would let if fly.
Even still, this might not be enough to stop then from doing it. If the masses arent up in arms, a few on the outskirts means little to them. They have a couple billion monthly users, a few hundred thousand upset is a drop in the bucket...especially since most of those people will still use Facebook in spite of what is happening.
Facebook is killing himself, this is ridiculous, how can this things happen?
Who was the incompetent that built the AI for them?
The team who built their AI must have social problems, because, unless the AI is already learning sick things, on its own, someone had to code that type of content to be suggested firstly.
A company with such a big name/reputation recommending thing so disturbing like that... but they were worried about banning crypto adds!
I think fb has a lot of bad stuff on it if you want to search. In the last six weeks or so I have been getting all kinds of odd stuff on my feed and block block block block.
I only go there for groups and used to have those on my feed. Now the group posts are not on there at all. Instead I have all this junk from major news outlets and pc type stuff. I also have all kinds of personality quizzes so they can mine me for info. I hide or block those too.
I block and something new I don't want to see is there next time I go in. Fortunately I have the groups I use bookmarked. When I get to them - everyone is complaining about their feed.
They also now have an option (the first one) so you can report people. It's along the lines of "Is this person in danger and do they need help?" Are you kidding me fb? What will you do to them if I were so stupid as to report them?
I get affiliate income from fb and coaching work - but now - I do not even feel comfortable being there and I'm not even seeing this porn stuff at all.
That's quite disturbing, but issues like this are very complicated. Like they mentioned, search suggestions are mostly a result of what people search the most not what is allowed on a platform. I think Facebook should also ensure that certain words are automatically removed from their suggestion database to avoid such occurrence.
It should be unpleasant to see a person looking for sexual content of minors in face-to-face, this could lead to strong penalties for Facebook if you teach sexual content on your page, that would discredit Facebook.

Facebook have many disadvantages on teenagers than advantages. Why I say that? Because as we known most of the teenagers don’t realize the negative impact of Fb on their life. And, the main reason is because they are already addicted to it. And, this addiction can lead to several negative developments.
The first disadvantage effect of fb is that a teenagers user starts loosing interest in his or her surroundings. They would be addicted to Fb and the only thing they would be concerned about will be their “own” world, which is inside Fb.
The second disadvantage effect is that the real-world social interaction will start diminishing. There is no doubt that they are going to have hundreds of friends on Fb , but with how many of them would teenagers be interacting out in the real world. As a human being, they are a social creature and naturally require real-world social interaction. When they are going to spend maximum of their time on the Internet, teenagers are going to decrease their communication and social skills.
Every time using Facebook has become modernism trend and fashion. This invention is rapidly gaining popularity. Facebook has some disadvantages, which must be avoided. Some people use Facebook to such extent that when they do not use it for a while they become agitated. West has revolutionized the field of Information Technology that they are trying to send fragrance through sms while our young generation wastes all of its energy by using girl’s pictures on Facebook to make girl-friend and then slowly reveals their fake love to deceive girls. There are people on Facebook who use this useful media for their nefarious desires. On Facebook, many people (especially young boys and girls) make fake IDs and deceive people and sometimes it leads us to leave our life. We are part of selfish society that if we say hello to someone we say it for a purpose then how can we love someone? From milk to life saving medicine everything is adulterate then how can our love be pure?
Everything has both positive and negative aspects it depends on in which way we are using it. On Facebook we interact with people of different kinds and different nature. Girls should avoid extra interaction with boys at any social media it seldom happens when we got our true love on social medias otherwise mostly people are fake and fraud. Boys should not play with emotions of any girl and also they must keep an eye on their sisters what they are doing on Facebook or any other media. Parents should limit the interaction of their sons and daughters with other girls and boys by providing them such environment that they do not get time to interact with false people because care is better than cure
