Jubilee Song | My Entry for Open Mic Grand Finals

Why I choose this song for finals?

I haven't got any song in mind but this, though it's kind like needs high tone of voice for this song, i told myself that i'll try to sing it not just because of it's musical elements but more because of it's content/lyrics. I remember way back I was in elementary, we had a big show for this Jubilee song and we had this performed inside the church. I super love the message of it, and i believe we need to hear this song right at this time and the situation the world is in. The original singer is known as inspirational Diva here in the Philippines who is Ms. Jamie Rivera. The song is calling us for peace, to unite as one saying that there should be no more division, no more walls and chain and no to selfishness. It is true that we should love our self to be able to give love to others, but not to the extent that we are into much of the material things in thia planet. It's also telling us to be grateful of the blessings we are receving and to always share the gifts that we have. Most importantly, this song encourages all of us to have pr to continue having hope and faith to the only one Great Creator, our dear Lord. In times like this, pandemic, natural disasters, like we had earthquakes, fires, political issues, and all the wars and misunderstandings, we must still have a positive outlook in life that one day, hopefully soonest, the world will be healed and be as one which is blessed with unity,peace, love and strong faith.

The simple entry set up story

I recorded this entry earlier this morning, while my youngest is still sleeping('coz you know once she's awake, she'll have my phone with her all day). If you noticed, i did't wanna show my face the entire song, was too shy on how will I look while giving out my voice on this song hahaha, so there i got that paper-cut-heart to save me. The music background was played from my laptop and it's kinda low in volume thinking that it would overlap the sound of my voice. So you'll here a little of the background music. About my voice, please bear with me on that, haha. I just really wanna sing this Jubilee song as my entry, so eventhought it's kinda heart to reach the high note, i still tried 😌.
