Beyond any limits
Why shouldn't they help themselves, after the way they were treated? Everything indicated that the cycle was continuing, as a circus dog cannot understand when it is time to shake off the fleas and fight for something more than the habit of judgment.
It was late, so late that Germán could not remember if there was already a moon or a sun, both seemed to fill the sky with their light. Because Selene appeared just like a sign in the sky, the one that everybody looks for as support to get out of a bad trance, however, the fear of change had him paralyzed. He was so used to the lack of confidence in the future, to the tears, to the visceral pain of flowing with the wear and tear of the chemotherapies, that he was about to let this rapture of shooting stars go by in company.
"It's not easy, Germán, I know," Selene insisted, "I myself have gone through what you are going through, but I also know that now is not the time to complain. Pity doesn't help us, we have to go out into the street to be in tune with the sky, we have to take the bull by the horns and bend it until we feel that it's ours, that it won't attack, but on the contrary, it will guide the next action which is to face this, self-motivated..."

Of course! Let's not fall into the trap of affecting the audience, let's thank them for their empathetic gesture, but let's move on, the play must go on... When and how, heaven only knows, we will leave the stage with the best performance of our lives. Life is ahead of us, beyond any limits.

That caught my eye too - and Everything that is intense must be ephemeral - now I'm wondering how many philosophers have explored that. I love the dialogue:
It's hard to put yourself in the shoes of someone with a terminal illness. I imagine that their mental processes are always directed towards the ephemeral, towards whether it is worthwhile or not, because of the short time they think or feel they have.

Aren't we all trained circus dogs? That's why we have universities. The trick is to love what you do.
Why do you (and other people) include additional pictures and gifs in every post? Is that somehow beneficial?
In a way, society trains us to reproduce its values and interests, it is true. As for the banners (animated or not), they are used to make known similar communities in which one also participates, I feel that it is a way of repaying the welcome and support they give us. At least, that is my intention in using them.

Oh, what an enriching experience you have lived. It is not easy to keep in mind that we have no future. Emotional maturity is required. You are a great human being, friend, you supported a person with special needs in their last days of life!
