For those who do know, here is my SPUD. Not huge as far as percentage growth goes but all the STEEM I earned (save football donations to @davedickeyyall) is powered up and locked in!

I totally agree.
I used to power up every few days or couple weeks as the rewards came in. Now I just save that for #spud. That I sacrifice in immediate blockchain value, I think we make back in the starting swings or our collective HEAVE! HO!
You and I will be here when spud causes a tsunami in momentum and effect. Til then, consistency and leading by example are the keys.
