Contest: Life Reflections

Good day steemians and fellow community members, I am delighted to partake in this contest by my senior boss @bossj23. In life, at some points, we have this somber moment when we just reflect on our past life. Things we have done, things we should have done and things we hope to do. This is an important aspect of life because life is like a flowing river, it is unpredictable, having different twist and turns, current and tides. This moment of pause and retrospection helps us on our path to self-discovery.

Have you ever felt someone is better than you are? If yes, in what aspect?

Yes, I have felt this way many times, I mean in the world we meet people everyday, from different backgrounds and career.
While growing up I used to feel that those kids whose parents were very rich were better than me then as I grew older I felt those my mates making money were better than me.

Mention 3 personalities or features of your life you don't like and would love to change

I would like to change my procrastination habit, this has had many bad effects on me. My laziness has made me not to get up and hustle like others and I would really love to change that. Working on it tho.
Another aspect of my life I would love to change is my introverted lifestyle, I believe because of this my shy attitude I have missed out on many opportunities that I would have gotten from socialising with people and gaining knowledge thereby forming a network of great minds. I have great difficulty approaching people and starting a conversation. This is also coupled by the fear for rejection.
And lastly, the thing I would love to change about myself is self-confidence, I have this low self-esteem and confidence that affects my overall performance in life. This is why I pre-ordered @comfortpeter 's book on building self-confidence.

Do you think it's healthy thinking or reflecting on your Imperfections and mistakes?

Yes it is because there are advantages to taking this short pause and retrospection. It helps us learn from the past, embrace the present and plan for the future. Life reflection is not always about the good days; it's also about the bad days, the day we felt done or stupid for our mistakes. When such mistake occur, reflecting on then can be a compass that guides us through the storm

If you were given an opportunity by God to change your looks, would you or you'll maintain?

Given the opportunity by God to change my looks I don't think there's anything I would really want to change because I am okay with my body. I know I am lean now but there was a time I was doing well for sometime and I got to see I can actually be normal built, so it's just food and rest that is the problem.
But then this my hairline is not what I like, I would surely ask for a hairline that is not receeding. I guess that's the only thing I'd change about my looks.
