Utopian.io - Rewarding work on Open Source Projects
What is Utopian.io?
Utopian.io is a new Frontend on the Steem Blockchain, which isn´t meant for normal Posting or to be used as social network itself but to reward those contributing to open source Projects. So far you couldn´t earn a single penny through working on open source Projects but now you can finally get rewarded through the Power of Steem.
That being said, you don´t have to be a developer to take part on Utopian.io as every contribution to Projects like e.g. as well translations or new ideas can be handed in via Utopian.io.
(Utopian.io got some sweet Power standing behind the Project. But please don´t start spamming the page as we all really benefit from the contributions on there.)
How can you Support the Project?
You may either get active through contributing to open source Projects or alternatively as a moderator on the platform. Due to the increased numbers of contributions flowing in there is an increased need of evaluating the content through more than just one person.
By getting active in those two ways you might be rewarded for good work and either receive upvotes or some Steem Power respectively. In case your time is limited, then you may as well think about some delegation to Utopian as that will grant you a certain slice of all the earnings of the Project.

hey @zeartul, great initiative with this. just wanted to clarify, however. I recently released another open-source tool that I just posted about yesterday (via STEEMIT.com).
How exactly does it work with utopian.io? Do I just update my tags to include " utopian-io" (which I did), or does one need to also post directly to the utopian.io website?

Are there another open source projects, except for Busy, in which you can take part and then receive a reward from utopian.io?
I'm trying it this precise moment but when I post the project it says : "Please enter an existing Github repository" !!! Why ?
